I’m of the opinion that knowledge is only dangerous when it’s not being used for good. Of course, many people ignore spit on their shoes and continue to ask Facebook why this why that? Or ask chacha! Or Siri! It’s like that movie with Piper, They Live. Totally weird.

I’m almost speechless. They will welcome and embrace the slavery.

Movies often mimic real life so people’s comprehension of reality becomes cinema.

Various science fictions of the recent past have anticipated/inspired this emerging reality. Neal Stephenson’s novel ‘Snow Crash’ and Kathryn Bigelow’s disturbing film ‘Strange Days’, being just two. With all respect your erudition and vantage give you a good beginning journal for what is likely amoung technosumers to become a paradigm called Glass. I look forward to more Glassgnosis.

They’re just entertainment. What’s the big deal.” It just kills me when I hear this.
The fact is that when anything *happens*, at all, people say it’s like a movie. They’ve been so trained and conditioned to experience life through screens that when something actually happens in the 3-D world, it’s unusual and it’s “like a movie.”
This means movies have become our internal life, dreamed into our heads by those who know how to put their own dreams onto film or video, the people who run the business of this town. So hearing that Zero Dark Thirty, for example, is “just a film” is usually where I tune out of the conversation.

The power of storytelling can’t be underestimated. I appreciate the storytelling you’re doing over here. It’s helping keep me sane.
