IF ONE confronts a person with ‘the truth’, and then follows up with solution oriented insights, that is one thing. Most people are simply bombarded with so much negative information, without solutions, that I believe it is ‘natural’ to shut down, turn it off, and go back to the ball game. I have a great respect for Jon Rappoport. What would be the outcome, do you imagine, if you sat down with a Rush, or a Glenn, or someone who does fill the common airwaves daily, and you explained how critical it is now for the common American to hear, not only the truth of where we stand, but also how simple solutions can come once we stand together. If we gathered all the men and women of your category of understanding together and had a two hour special stating the state of affairs that is based on truth, I believe you would be amazed to find that people WANT the truth, so desperately, but it must bear with it common sense solution!

I’ve been thinking about the pageantry of the US political caucus or late. I watched a few episodes of “House of Cards” and marveled at the depiction of the “ruthless pragmatism” of the main character balanced with his sugary appeal to American sentimentality in his public appearances, delivered in his charming southern drawl, too charming to be real. And that’s the point – reality bites, so leave it alone. “…fascism soft-boiled” indeed.

When I first stepped outside the construct, I excitedly tried to coax others out as well. After many failed attempts, enraging and alienating my friends and family in the process, I finally realized what the problem was; they don’t want the truth…But what they do want is a reality that aligns with what they wish was true.
