I read it again today and realized that what you meant. was that it is ALREADY intellectuals that are teaching kids today.

I did not get either “there will be “POCKETS of light, in a darkening world.”.
I thought it meant that there will be a bit of light in this dark world.

So finally, we are on the same side.

Sometimes, I have a hard time understanding English writting.

I’m not so sure of that. I find intellectuals are much too rigid. I would much prefer artists to teach young men.

We must fight the enemies of civil men. they always go after the intellectuals, men of thought, of morals, truth.
With the world situation as it is, our freedom of speech is under full attack.
Control, asserted by many means now, dumbing humans down, has become one way. Lying about history another, deception, ages old, now very much alive. For me, I look at things good-evil….right-wrong.
Us old guys, myself anyway, want to see the world civil, before I check out.
