Watching a screen irritates me.
This is probably why I do not like television either. Watching a story is distracting you from the content of the story. I prefer reading a story, because then you can imagine the scene.

Whenever I listen to the television, I always do it at bed time and in my bed. I turn my back to the television set and I close my eyes. This is the only way I can enjoy it, because while listening to the dialogue, I can create my own scene. It’s like if someone would read you a bed time story. You have to imagine the whole scenery. What I really like is listening to the radio. It gives you the same freedom to imagine everything.
