The reality that we are currently living in is a world of limited resources that we compete and, sometimes, fight for. The virtual reality (VR) choices are growing. I know many young people who spend hours a day ‘gaming’. They don’t need their own house or a nice car; they can have any house/car that they want in their on-line existence. I see that VR are now expanding into sex. If they can have sex with many beautiful people while they are in their new matrix, they will not be satisfied with their options in the real world. Little by little, their new reality will come to dominate all of their waking hours. Property crime will be reduced — why would anybody want to steal if they can have anything that they want in VR? Communicable diseases will be reduced. That will be the reason that it will be sold as a part of the health care system. Old people and prisoners will be cared for by VR attendants. Eventually, it will be difficult to leave the virtual reality. it will become a prison. After a couple of years, few will want to leave the matrix. When the power fails, many will die because they will not be able to cope with the real reality. One day, people will look back to today and say “Those were the days.”
