The selfishness in each of us prevented us from realizing the goals of the 1776 Declaration of Independence:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Those are the COMMON GOALS OF ALL HUMANITY. That is why a paper celebrating the centennial of Paul Kazuo Kuroda’s birth in Japan on 1 April 1917 concludes:

And you know this as a fact, right…I can’t know history. Don’t care to know it really. History is written by people who wish to influence my future. And I won’t let that happen.

I only know my history which the most important and only history to me.

I just have this life of mine, that I care, and love to enjoy immensely. I want to enjoy it, like it is a piece of fine art.

That I will desire the biggest and the best, for me; the richest and the most meaninful: and best quality of everything that I endeavour to and acquire… The best food and most exciting experiences, the most beautiful and talented people will surround me because I am interesting; I wish as friends only the individual, who thinks only about ‘their’ desires.

The most exciting and the longest life naturally possible will be mine; the most loved and most desired I will be. I wish to be the biggest and best at everything. I want to be the one of a kind and the rare unmanufactured human.

I want to run the race and win it every single time.

Self sacrifice; for the world, or a global ideal; or climate or over population, or a UN agenda; or your for your comment…nah I am not there. Don’t want to be.

Fuck selfish, I want it all.

Does that make me bad…no, not at all. It makes me involved in my own well-being, involved in my own life.
Living it like I am mortal.
