I forget which book I read about this but I always remember the phrase used when life is held in the kind of balance between subject and object that you refer to. In that flow, things get made “as if by invisible hands”. Things happen. For example I’m a musician and had that Flow which I lost for various reasons. Things would “just happen”. Other artists and relevant events would “just happen”, I did not have to seek them out. A friend would appear with exactly the right records at exactly the right moment (borrowed from friends). Ideas for which records to mix together would appear effortlessly. Events would flow into one another. I found myself in Barcelona around people who showed me how it could be to make a living as a musician and a creative. I never consciously stated “I must go to Barcelona now!” events flowed together and into one another.

At the moment I’m slowly getting back to this. For example one has to raise a bit of a buzz, some hype for a piece of music before actually putting it on sale. Sending it to DJ’s who you can trust will only play it in their set. This is sometimes a couple of years before actually releasing the track for sale. But I need to get into a position where I’m not “trying” to find these DJ’s (Yoda, “there is not try”) but into a position where they simply just appear from nowhere.
