there are a few leftist sites who are very critical and good, you are right, but i guess i meant more individual people
i used to be considered “leftist” but today would have a really hard time with the liberals i used to know ( this includes the anarchists i used to know, they are all bloody liberals, the Trump era has shown them to be what they really are); even back then i had issues because i questioned certain things including body positivity ,AIDS and didn’t understand the urge to vote for Kerry if “both parties really are the same”
corporate capitalism LOVES identity politics
i’m not interested in the “Dirtbag left” either
i’m not right wing but would probably be “considered” that now
]]>Thanks! I just saw this. Found it.
You know, a while ago I’d heard a bit about this, but didn’t get any details.
Quick search found it on SCRIBD.
Saved it to notes.
I guess it points out that most of us born in the US are born into slavery. That, and the financial system is rigged (surprise, right?)!

God bless you, Alan, and Hong Kong!
Now that there is an executive order, and the populace is too dumb to resist or even to understand that an executive order is not law, I have to wear a mask under my nose where mandated, just to stay out of trouble. At least, that seems to work and I can still breathe.
]]>Those are great!
How to choose? So many good ones.

Yup, that’s where it was headed BEFORE the scamdemic!
We are getting ready to send our daughter off to college (first semester). Have been having zoom type web meetings with faculty and administrators for the past 3 weeks, as they’re trying to deal with ‘covid’ too. My take on the last meeting is that they’re just going to have one ‘open campus’ semester, and after that it will be all online.
Maybe I’m just a skeptic or pessimist, but they’re already changing the students’ schedules to have them go to classes on Saturday’s and holidays, in order to be done before Thanksgiving (just in time for “cold & flu season” and another lockdown?) I hope I’m wrong, but it seems to fit the “cradle to career” education model the technogeeks and elites want to implement to limit school learning. Producing worker bees that don’t or can’t think critically.
